OURLIBRARY

OurLibrary (formerly MyLibrary)

In the effort to expand and enrich the learning experience of students and other members of communities, the Ayala Foundation, through the Filipinas Heritage Library, is spearheading the OurLibrary project. This project aims to:

- improve the collection of resource and reading materials available in the public or school library in cities and municipalities in the country;
- improve the library facilities;
- enhance libraries’ services; and
- set up related activities that aim to promote a greater love of reading and learning

The whole campaign will be implemented to benefit the community, especially the young. It will also promote a greater awareness and appreciation of their local heritage by including activities that will feature stories, myths, characters, and heroes that originated from their locality or province.

FHL is partnering with the local government, other stakeholders, and private corporations in mounting this project in the selected communities.
