Visitor Information

The Filipinas Heritage Library is open for onsite visits and virtual consultation for a fee.
Interested guests are welcome for a quick 15-minute ocular visit free of charge, subject to availability.

 

Advance Booking

Guests are highly encouraged to book an appointment in advance. This allows us to:

  • reserve your slot and preferred seating
  • ensure that the books you request are accessible
  • assist in your research by recommending related titles

Limited slots are available for booking. Please refer to our booking procedures below. Please read our Terms and Conditions before booking.

 

Admission Fees

Access to the library collections and facilities, inclusive of Wi-Fi connection and charging of devices. 
 

Library Day Pass

One day access (up to 7 hours).
Rates valid until September 2024.

  • Regular – PHP 300 
  • Student – PHP 150* 
  • Senior/PWD – PHP 210* 
  • Discounted – PHP 240*

Library Research Pass (2-month access) 

Unlimited library visits within a period of two months.
10% discount on reproduction fees, Meeting Room use, and succeeding Research Passes.
Non-transferable.
Rates valid until September 2024.

  • Senior/PWD – PHP 2,600*

To maximize your appointment, search our online catalog here and send us your book list prior to booking so we can confirm the availability of requested materials.  Some materials may be in offsite storage and may not be readily available.

Access to Collections
  • Library materials are for room use only and may not be taken out of the premises
  • Materials from open shelves may be freely accessed, but must be returned at the front desk after use
  • Ask assistance from librarians to access materials from closed shelves
  • Reproduction services are available, subject to copying limits

Meeting Room 

FHL’s Tanáw Room offers a scenic view of Makati and is ideal for study, work, and discussion. Good for small groups of up to six, as well as individual visitors

Rate: PHP 200 per 2 hours, on top of Library Day Pass/Library Research Pass/Ayala Museum Membership*

Accessibility for visitors with limited mobility
  • The museum is wheelchair accessible via De La Rosa and Makati Avenue entrances.
  • Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available at the ground floor and 3rd floor .
  • Pets are not allowed but service animals are welcome.

Library Etiquette

  • Food and drinks (except drinking water in covered containers) may NOT be brought and consumed in the library
  • Oversized bags and luggage, food and drinks, cigarettes and vapes must be deposited at the Museum’s baggage counter
  • No smoking or vaping
  • Handle library materials and facilities with care
  • Observe silence
  • Respect copyright and fair use
  • We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw admission of guests who fail to comply with safety protocols and library guidelines

 

Prohibited items
  • Guns, knives, and all categories of weapons and ammunition.
  • Any explosive, flammable, or volatile substance.
  • Tools, in particular craft knives, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, all blunt objects, and neutralizing objects.
  • Any excessively heavy, cumbersome, or foul-smelling items.
  • All animals, except for guide dogs or assistance dogs accompanying persons with motor or mental impairment.

  • Booking requests will be acknowledged and confirmed via email.
  • For urgent requests or concerns, you may contact us via email or chat. We’ll do our best to respond as soon as possible, within business hours.
