June 29, 1847

Pedro Pablo Roxas, a managing partner of Ayala y Cia. from 1876 to 1891, was born. Early in life, Roxas was exposed to his family’s various businesses and developed a keen business sense. He worked at Destileria Ayala, later becoming its manager.
