FHL wins at the INASP Bringing Libraries to Life advocacy and photograph competition

The Filipinas Heritage Library is among the 18 winners at the Bringing Libraries to Life advocacy and photograph competition of the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP).  The photo competition aimed to showcase the activities of librarians involved in advocacy work and to raise awareness and support for libraries.  A prize of $300 will be given to the winning institutions to be used for any promotion or advocacy work.
The INASP “works with partners to support global research communication through innovation, networking and capacity strengthening, focusing on the needs of developing and emerging countries.” It works with many different types of libraries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Other winning libraries from the Philippines are the Ateneo de Manila University – Rizal Library and University of the Philippines College of Engineering Library.

The complete list of winners and winning photos can be viewed at the INASP website.
