Filipinas Heritage Library hosts Himig / Diwa to benefit OurLibrary

In celebration of its 15th year of promoting Philippine art and culture, the Filipinas Heritage Library, one of the leading one-stop electronic all-Filipiniana libraries in the country, held a special musical event on October 19. Entitled Himig / Diwa, the event featured some of the most acclaimed classical and pop musicians in the country today.

Ayala Coop, FHL partner to bring MyLibrary to CENTEX Manila

The Ayala Multi-Purpose Cooperative, an institutional cooperative for the employees of the Ayala group of companies and its subsidiaries, recently entered into a partnership with the Filipinas Heritage Library to develop the library of the Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (CENTEX) Manila. The CENTEX Manila Library was inaugurated on September 16.


Filipinas Heritage Library celebrates its 15th anniversary

Since 1996, the Filipinas Heritage Library has served as a leading one-stop electronic library of Filipiniana books and other resources. Today, FHL continues to reach out to a much wider audience by harnessing the power of the Internet to provide researchers anywhere in the world access to the wealth of information it offers; promoting a love of reading and contributing to the improvement of literacy rates through educational programs and reading campaigns; instilling a sense of pride in the country’s cultural and artistic heritage through exhibits and cultural shows; and helping communities across the nation build and nurture their own libraries.
