The Filipinas Heritage Library is proud to present its first online book, Meine Lieben: Swiss Letters from the Philippines 1919-1927. Meine Lieben is a collection of letters written by Albert and Hans Irminger, Swiss expatriates who lived in the Philippines in the 1920s. The book, which includes accompanying text by writer Bernadette S. Oloroso, will also feature period photos and illustrations from 1920s Philippines.

Every month, a new chapter from Meine Lieben will be available on the Filipinas Heritage Library website and may be viewed free of charge. The online book will be available for a period of ten months, after which the entire book may be viewed at the Filipinas Heritage Library.
