- General note - (Editor's Note: In his Circular No. 7, s. 1950, which inclosed this Code of Ethics for Public School Teachers and Officials, Director Benito Pangilinan of Public Schools said in part: " Various sources were consulted in the preparation of this code of ethics. in it were incorporated time-honored professional practices here and abroad, as well as sound principles of educational administration. it is recommended that this code be discussed in teachers' meetings. if there are any provisions that are not in agreement with the views of any local teachers group, the superintendent should report such views to this office, pointing out the provisions objected to and giving fully the reasons each objection.") - p. 19
