| Summary, Etc. |
- Summary, etc. - "...Fujian ware produced and traded during this period represents an impressive proportion and the least known group of ceramics found in the Philippines. During these past decades, archaeologists have unearthed numerous ancient kilns in Fujian Province. The excavated finds provide valuable information on the type of wares produced by these kilns. From the vast variety of local finds, we now see that Fujian potters were very open to innovating the shapes and decorative style of their wares. We also know that these ceramics were much in demand because of the wide distribution of archaeological sites along the Philippine coastline and the bountiful loads found in shipwreck sites off Palawan Island, specifically those of the Breaker Reef and Investigator Shoal..." - from the Foreword by Angela L. Quila
