Summary, Etc.
  • Summary, etc. - "Stories based on old legal cases are like wine aging in oak barrels, there is more to savor as the years go by. Inspired by the best-selling book The Defense Never Rests of the famous criminal lawyer F. Lee Bailey, I started writing the "Unforgettable Legal Stories" as a series in a weekly women's magazine in the early 1970s and ended up writing more than 125. In 1975, the first compilation of twenty-four selected stories appeared in book form, followed by thirty-six more in 1978 and finally, thirty-eight in 1980... Whether the laws in the stories are old or new, the emotional reactions and consequences stemming from their violation remain the same through the years. This eternal theme is what I hope will make this book a page-turner for the general public, lawyers and law students alike." - From the Preface
