- Summary, etc. - "This book is a record of interviews from Filipino people who experienced war under Japanese rule during the Asia Pacific War. The author interviewed with approximately five hundred Filipina about their war experience for a year since in January 1988. A lot of Filipina told the author that they described act of 'subduing Filipina guerrillas' conducted by Japanese Imperial Army as act of 'walang hiya (walan-hiya): without humanity'.
