- Summary, etc. - This book is divided into two volumes. Volume 1 is written since the surrender of Macarthur to Japanese Imperial army to starting 'Operation Leapfrog'. He held the Corregidor Fortress after he defeated a blitz attack from Japanese Imperial army. However, he escaped Australia, leaving his words "I shall return".
