- Summary, etc. - "When MacArthur landed at Leyte island on Oct 20, 1944, Filipino local people welcomed US army as liberation army from Japanese imperialism and they rose up to fight against Japanese Imperial army as 'anti-Japanese guerrilla'. Based on the historical fact, this book describes that the military governor by Japanese Imperial army was very poor because of making enemies of Filipino as a result and that tragedy which resulted in bringing another country into a fight.
