- Summary, etc. - "The author went to Lubang Island in Philippines to hold the position of an intelligence officer in December 1944 (Showa 19). In February 1945 (Showa 20), he escaped to Mountain in the island and conducted guerilla war after U. S army troops disembarked. He never believed in Japan's defeat in the Asia Pacific war on 15 August 1945 (Showa 20). For that reason, he had been continuing to hide out mountain in the island and also to conduct guerilla war for thirty years after the war. In 1974 (Showa 29), he surrendered at last and returned to Japan for the first time in thirty years. This book is described "thirty years war" in other words, "combat report"for the author based on his memory about war experience in Lubang." - Masuko Takehisa
