| Title |
- Title - Pottery-making: Potter working on clay mixture
|
| Notes |
- Notes - Photo shows Alicia Bustos working on a hollowed clay mixture. To facilitate shaping, she rests the clay o a banana leaf, any similar smooth sheeta is sometimes used. This serves as an improvised potter's wheel, a feely rotating metal disk, which has not become popular among local potters. She usually finishes from 10 to 20 pots a day, averaging 2 feet high and some 10 to 12 inches in diameter.
