| General Note |
- General note - Side view of the church showing provisionary roofing placed at a level lower than the previous one. The present parish priest, Bartolome Llenas, a secular, hopes to bring back the roof to its original level. Glass panels used to lie between the roof and the side walls. The parish church in Balingasag, Misamis Or., was established probably in the 1870's by the Recollects. Constructed of red brick tiles and hardwood lumber, the church was burned by the guerrillas during the Japanese war when an enemy officer took cover inside the church. Immediately after the war, the Jesuits made some repairs and put up a provisionary galvanized iron roofing.
