- Title - Fernando C. Amorsolo: Princess Urduja. 1956.
|
| Notes |
- Notes - Oil on canvas. 52" x 36". The story of Princess Urduja, the "Virgin Queen", stands uneasily between truth and myth. The time setting is the 14th century and the account is given by one Ibn Batuta, an Arab traveller, who claims to have visited Princess Urduja's royal court in Kaylukari, a progressive seaport town which some historians believe to be the forerunner of the town of Lingayen, Pangasinan.
