| General Note |
- General note - Iloilo''s most magnificent graveyard, both in size and appearance was built during the Spanish regime; it is situated on an elevated ground some 2 kilometers east of the Janiuay town plaza. Stretching nearly 100 meters along the road, it had three round-arched doorways, each of which is reached by a flight of half-elliptic stairs. Both gates and stairs are made of limestone. Images of various saints in niches decorate the massive walls which flank the stairs below the arched gateways.
