Notes	Notes - In this engraving, an Armenian smokes from a water pipe while a Moghul and a Malabar watch. The Armenians and Moors of India started coming to Manila while the ports were still closed to European ships. They came as crew men of English and French ships flying any Asian flag. The ship captains, posing as interpreters, presented them as ship owners or captains.
