- Title - Julian Jumalon: Santo Niño
|
| Notes |
- Notes - A lepido-mosaic, "Santo Nino", was made to commemorate the 4th centennial of the Christianization of the Philippines in April, 1965. A portrait of the image of the Holy Child, enshrined in the Basilica of San Agustin Church, took the artist 23 days to complete due to the intricate design of the cape, elaborate crown, and small face. It usually takes him two weeks to finish a lepido-mosaic, not counting the time he spends in gathering the needed butterfly wings. 14" x 18 3/4"
