General Note
  • General note - The church was founded in 1742 under the advocation of San Luis Gonzaga. It was restored by Fr. Isidro Bernardo in 1883. It is 56 m long, 13 m wide and 11 m high. Fr. Francisco Diaz enlarged the convent in 1877. In 1984, Fr. Jacobo David restored the main altar. The stone facade remains untouched so keeps the rough patina of history and time.
