| Title Statement |
- Title - The Philippine terno, early 1900s
|
| General Note |
- General note - Photo shows the elegant silhouette of the serpentina, which was the dominant line from the beginning of the 1900 until about 1915. The bodice is tight, and the area around the hips, closer to the body. The flare at the hem is achieved by the sewing of the bias-cut bottom to the tapering upper portion somewhere at the mid-calf.
