| Title Statement |
- Title - The Philippine terno, 1918-1920
|
| General Note |
- General note - Three ladies, most likely sisters, pose in their elegant ternos. All three camisas are made of sheer and stiff material which makes possible the large billow of the sleeves. The paƱuelos are worn open to show the bodice. Slim and gradually flaring towards the hems, the skirts are trailed by long colas. Slightly visible are the sobrefaldas of two of them(extreme left and the center) which are accented with a cabbage rose that was modish in 1913.
