Title Statement
  • Title - The Philippine terno, circa 1920
General Note
  • General note - Two terno-clad women pose with a teener wearing a faddish sailor dress. The camisas are uncharacteristically top heavy because of the billowy sleeves. However, the sobrefaldas, one made of tulle which is traced with sequins, the other, of lace, date the ternos as belonging to the twenties.
