Title Statement
  • Title - The Philippine terno, circa 1920
General Note
  • General note - The camisa, made of embroidered piña or rengue, has short, creased and standing sleeves which look like those of the 1940 ternos. The collar -looking pañuelo is slight and folded only thrice. But very twenty-ish is the saya with dovetail cola and topped with dark but flimsy sobrefalda decorated with embroidery and rhinestones.
