- General note - Shown is a Filipina in a crisp camisa and pañuelo ensemble, together with a long skirt much narrower than that in vogue in the first and second decades of the 1900s. Almost like a sheath, the skirt is made more interesting by a number of pleats along the back of the waistline to allow freedom of movement and a more elegant tail.
