| General Note |
- General note - Photo shows an ornate headgear with silver filigree and feather tip decor, used by the Tagalog dandies during the 19th century. The hat, inspired by and shaped like the native salakot ( although smaller), is made of anahaw leaves lacquered in dark-brown shade. Hats of this type were worn more as status symbols-usually with fine jusi barong short-rather than functional personal possessions.
