General Note
  • General note - Branagan was the national treasurer of the Philippines from 1901 to 1913. Born in Steubenville, Ohio on April 5, 1858. He was the U.S. Fiscal Attache in the Spanish-American peace conference in Paris. In April, 1900, he was appointed Disbursing Officer of the Taft Commission. One year later, he was promoted to the position of Treasurer of the Philippines.
