General Note
  • General note - Brent, an Episcopalian Bishop, sailed for the Philippines in May 1902 as missionary bishop of the Philippines. He worked among the non-Christian tribes of the Mountain Province and Mindanao and the Protestant Americans of Baguio and Manila. He established the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. John in Manila, St. Luke''s Hospital, the Columbia Club, and the school which bears his name.
