General Note
  • General note - A commander of the United States who served in Cuba and Puerto Rico. In February, 1899, he joined the "Solace" as navigating officer, coming to Manila through the Suez Canal. In April 12, 1899, he was captured by the insurgents with fourteen of his men and never heard of again while on a reconnaissance mission on the coast of Tayabas, Quezon.
