  • General note - Photo shows the Catholic school standing on one side of the town plaza. La Pass, which lies northeast of Bangued on the right bank of Tineg River was founded by the Augustinian friars Bernardo Lago and Lorenzo Juan in 1932. The first school, though of temporary character and had to be rebuilt by subsequent missionaries, was established at about this time.
