- Notes - Photo shows a stretch of the mountain road built by Colonel L. W. V. Kennon and his four-thousand strong multi-national crew in 1904. Later conceded to be ill-conceived, the building of the road overshot its budget by three hundred sixty percent. Also shown are Benguet Igorot women carrying their load on their heads.
