  • General note - Photo shows the port of Jagna in eastern Bohol where Miguel Lopez de Legazpi first stopped to make repairs on his flagship after a journey from Natividad, Mexico, passing by Samar, Leyte and Camiguin. It is the most important town of the province next to Tagbilaran City, the capital. It was originally settled by the townspeople of Loboc who transformed its valleys into rice paddies.
