| General Note |
- General note - Facing Panglao Bay and overlooking the southern tip of Cebu and Siquijor Island is a limestone watchtower, looking as massive as it is tall. The four-tiered tower rise some 90 feet high and tapers to a pyramidal roof of low pitch. It has six faces, each pierced with small arched openings on every floor. In the topmost tier are the bells that warned residents whenever Muslims raiders were spotted. Built din 1851, a few years before the stone church was erected, this tower is the largest and tallest in the entire province of Bohol.
