| General Note |
- General note - Seen in photo is one of the arched openings viewed from the interior of the second storey. Note the squarish limestone blocks that made up the tower walls measuring some 10 feet in breadth at the thickest portion. The tower was built several years after the Spaniards first erected or settled in Panglao (1803), although missionaries visited the village much earlier in the 17th century.
