General Note
  • General note - Built in 1812, the stone casa real (tribunal del pueblo) served as the seat of the local political authority in Malolos in the last years of Spanish colonial rule. When Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo made the town the capital of the First Philippine Republic, the casa was used to house the official printing press of the government. The historic building was almost lost to a gasoline station in 1965.
