General Note
  • General note - Nestled within the craggy Mantayupan Range in the east of Cebu, this scenic waterfalls was once a rivulet. It was named after the legendary sweethearts, Mantalaga and Ayupan. Barrio folks say music can be heard emanating from its recesses on quiet nights. When the moon appears, a diminutive city of fairies (subjects of Haring Mantalaga, a gigantic octopus) may be seen frolicking around the beautiful maiden, Ayupan.
