|
| General Note |
- General note - This is the main street of Cebu's Parian, claimed to be the oldest street in the Philippines. The narrow and historic thoroughfare used to stretch from Mabini (Calle Cristina) to D. Jakosalem (Calle Alfonso XIII). On this street were built large and imposing rows of stone, wood and brick houses that belonged to Cebu's most prominent and richest Chinese mestizo families. Colon is the Spanish form of Columbus.
