- General note - Photo of the Asilo de Huerfanos de Santa Luisa de Marillac in Molo, an asylum for orphaned girls. Run by the Daughters of Charity, the institution was founded by Bishop Dennis Dougherty on September 27, 1912 (feast of the congregation''s founder, San Vicente de Paul). Construction of the P50,000 building was started on April 20, 19l5, and finished in December 1915. Prior to this date, the inmates occupied a rented house also in Molo. The orphanage is named after St. Louise of Marillac, co-founder of the Daughters of Charity.
