General Note
  • General note - Abaga in Maranaw, means "shoulder", the two routes leading to the place being in the forms of a man''s shoulder. These (also called Twin Falls, being adjacent to each other) are within the barrio of Abaga, a former U.S. military Reservation. During World War II, thousands of U.S. and Pilipino soldiers were executed by the Japanese along the gorge.
