- General note - Photo shows the river as it empties into the Manila Bay. Jones Bridge is also shown as it was constructed in 1921. Connecting Calle Rosario and Plaza Lawton, it was built on the same spot where Puente de EspaƱa used to span the Pasig. The paved avenue on left is Magallanes Drive or Paseo de Magallanes as it was called during the Spanish time. Intramuros is on upper left. Abutting into the south bank are the custom houses and Fort Santiago. 1936.
