Pasig River is crossed on two of its bridges (Santa Cruz, 1901) and Jones (formerly Puente de EspaƱa, 1921) and plied by barges, launches and cascos seen moored off the muelle on the north bank. Binondo is located on the north bank (right on photo); Intramuros, south of the river. The tree-lined Dewey Boulevard divides old Manila from the reclaimed area which became site of the city''s port facilities, c. 1930.
