General Note
  • General note - Located high on the northeast face of Magmisi Mountain (Devil''s Peak). The large, open cave was discovered by Eric Casino of the National Museum in 1962. Found on the surface were an early type of stone adze polished only on the blade, an early Neolithic (2250 B.C.) flake tool industry, and a jar burial assemblage circa 250 B.C.
