- General note - Photo shows the seat of the provincial government located in the town of San Fernando. In 1904, the Philippine Commission moved the capitol to San Fernando from Bacolor because the opening of the Manila Railroad made the former more accessible. The sprawling compound where the capitol stands is also the site of several national and provincial government agencies.
