| General Note |
- General note - One of the off-shore islands belonging to Quezon province, and the second largest next to Polillo. This island at Lamon Bay lies in a northwesterly-southeasterly direction and is about 20 miles long and 3 miles wide. Heavily wooded, it is distinguished from a distance by its 5 peaks rising from 1,083 to 1,384 feet high. On the island are 3 municipalities: Perez on the northern tip, Alabat on the mid-west coast, and Quezon on the southern tip. Launches negotiate the bay regularly between Atimonan and Alabat. Photo was taken from the Maria Aurora Castle on the Atimonan highway.
