| General Note |
- General note - The exact date when this watchtower was constructed is not known, although it could have been some time shortly after the town was transferred in the late 17th century, or in the early 18th century after the parish was formally established. The limestone edifice stands at the eastern end of the concrete seawall facing Lamon Bay. Gumaca is favorably located on a flat terrain where the Bondoc and Bicol peninsulas meet; hence, its vital role in the commerce of these areas.
