- General note - A multi-purpose amphitheater was built behind the Quezon provincial capitol in 1958 by then Governor Leon Guinto Sr. Originally named Gold Bowl because of its shape (which is sometimes likened to the shape of a coconut husk) it was improved in 1964-70 by Governor Anacleto C. Alcala, On May 31, 1970, it was given a new and permanent name in honor of its builder. Behind the Guinto Memorial Amphitheater, partly seen in the background in photo, is the provincial jail.
