| General Note |
- General note - This town at the mouth of the Kalilaya River (after which it was originally named), was the ancient capital of Quezon, since the creation of the province as Kalilaya in 1591. Now known as the municipality of Unisan, it was abandoned as the capital in 1750 because of frequent Muslim incursions. The town faces Tayabas Say and the island of Marinduque.
