General Note
  • General note - Panoramic view of the Chinese pier in Jolo, Sulu shows nipa and bamboo houses on water and forested Mount Tumantangis, 1903. One of the bloodiest battles fought in Jolo was held in Tumantangis, some 853 meters above sea level, where Sulu warriors, including Datu Tahil, fought against the Americans. Photo reproduced in 1971.
