- General note - Photoengraving of the port near Zamboanga. Photo shows the original site of the Spanish settlement founded by Captain Juan Pacho in 1598. Two years later, the entire garrison was ordered to leave for Cebu to protect it from possible attacks of Butch battleships. The site is now known as Recodo.
