| General Note |
- General note - The Philippines'' oldest golf club was founded in 1910 by Gen. John J. Pershing, the governor of the Moro Province. Originally known as the Zamboanga Country Club, the original site of this club occupied both sides of the highway that leads to and from the San Ramon penal colony at Calarian along the west coast, and had areas apportioned for such games as tennis, horse-racing and polo. Gov. Pershing was its first president. Although its course has only nine holes, the present officers of the club intend to add nine more to encourage both national and international tournaments.
